Chorley-based Dreamtex has won gold for its National Geographic Ocean Life bedding made from recycled material.
The textiles firm was recognised at the Bizziebaby product awards for its range which earned fulls marks for comfort as well as educating children.
The parenting review website said each family of product testers gave top scores when considering factors such as design, comfort, quality and value for money.
Each duvet is made from a many as 12 recycled bottles, using the ethical material Repreve. Parents were impressed by the softness of the fabric, the ease of washing, the recycled packaging and the important educational message behind the sea creatures design.

Dreamtex's partnership with National Geographic also earned it a nomination at the 2020 Licensing International Excellence Awards nominee in the Best Licensed Home Décor Product category and it was then a finalist in the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards for Best Brand Licensed Home Décor range.
