Burnley-based digital agency Door 4 designed and built the website for the Silver Line, the much-talked about new charity for older people.
The new website was officially launched at the same time as the charity opened its national helplines, as thousands of viewers visited simultaneously following appearances on BBC and independent radio and The One Show, sparking interest in its services.
Managing director Leon Calverley said: "We were delighted to be asked to be involved in the Silver Line. This is a fantastic cause which counters loneliness and isolation amongst older people. There are some inspirational people at Silver Line and it's an honour to be a part of it. Fylde-based FCMS had previously been revealed as the company chosen to handle the charity's phone calls.
