The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) has appointed Professor Chris Pyke as dean to lead the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise.
A professionally qualified accountant, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and serves on its North West Regional Council, and has Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) status.
The new School has over 100 academics and delivers a wide range of business related courses, including accounting and economics courses which have been ranked number one in the UK for student satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2017.
“Over the coming months we will be working closely with employers to ensure we develop relevant programmes which produce graduates who meet their expectations and business needs. “I want to ensure that we give as many people as possible the chance to change their lives by studying at the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise.”
