Growing Darwen based print marketing company, Empine Group, has set its sight on further growth with the appointment of Dan Rowles as studio manager.
Following it’s first 10 years in business this appointment is aimed at improving client workflow from order to delivery and Dan’s experience adds significant value when it comes to the graphic design part of the process.
Bringing the function in house will improve design capacity, ideas and quality, as well as reduce the lead times on design-based work. The function will also increase the pre-press quality checks from printed materials.
After around 20 years in design and marketing, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Empine.
This experience includes working in the marketing team of a civil engineering company, with projects including the London Eye Pods, power stations and Alton Towers rides. It also includes a 15+ year stint with the University of Bolton.
Although joining Empine to lead the studio team, Dan also has knowledge of Photography and video content which can be used to help guide client’s marketing in the right direction.
Dan said: “It’s really great to be part of a team like Empine, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together!”
Jacob Knowles, director of Empine said: “This appointment sets out our stall for the next phase of growth. Empine is a really ambitious business and, without bringing in talent like Dan, we would be unable to continue the growth and attract the levels of client we are doing.”
“Having recently launched our new Web2Print software, these are exciting times for Empine and bringing Dan in, who shares our vision is a really exciting prospect.”
