Nelson-based business communications giant Daisy Group is back on the acquisition trail and has snapped up IT data specialist Net Crowd.
The purchase, for an undisclosed sum, will provide Daisy with new cross-selling opportunities according to chief executive Matthew Riley.He added: “As a fast-growing business with an experienced management team we believe this acquisition further enhances our service offering. This deal provides a strong foundation for Daisy Group in the growing IP and data market, and is a great strategic fit for the evolution of the business.
“The board believes this acquisition will drive further cross selling opportunities within our enlarged base while also providing Net Crowd’s customers with direct access to the Group’s full portfolio of products and services.”
NetCrowd, based in Berkshire, provides ‘white label’ professional services, maintenance and installations. It works with vendors including Cisco, Juniper Networks, HP and Microsoft to provide complex IT services NetCrowd’s existing senior management team will continue to run the business, reporting into Daisy’s Wholesale division.Enjoyed this?
