A Blackburn based law firm has embraced the Halloween spirit by dressing up in creepy costumes to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Curtis Law Solicitors have raised more than £130 for the charity which provides practical, medical and financial support for cancer sufferers across the UK.“We had a quirky cake sale, spooky decorations across the call centre and awarded a prize for the best outfit," said Imran Younis, Curtis Law’s call centre manager.
“Our staff had great fun getting into the Halloween spirit and we’re already planning ahead for our next charity dress up day,” he added. It’s not the first time the law firm, which hires over 150 people, has helped support local and national charities. The firm has taken part in Macmillan’s world’s biggest coffee morning; has staff running marathons and regular dress down days all to raise donations.
“We’re constantly coming up with new and innovative fundraising ideas to help support such worthwhile causes like Macmillan,” said Ish Ahmed, enterprise manager at Curtis Law. “As one of the fastest expanding law firm in the North West we’ll keep growing and we want our charity fundraisers to continue to do so too.”Enjoyed this?
