CUBE HR has triumphed at the Burnley Business awards, winning the Small Business Award.
The Burnley Business Awards were back after a three-year break in front of an audience of 500 business professionals in the stunning grounds of Towneley Hall.
The awards had more entries than ever before with more than half of all the entries being in the Small Business category that CUBE went on to win.
Lisa Sourbutts, managing director at CUBE HR, said: “This award is really special to us. We’re based in Burnley and love the support network we have here from our fellow business community. We’ve worked hard to continuously innovate to be the best HR provider to our customers, and the best employer to our team, and we’re thrilled to be recognised for this”
The judges said: “CUBE HR won because supporting businesses and the people that work in those businesses is at the very heart of what they do. While they were doing what they do best, they also developed themselves and grew the business by a significant percentage and we were impressed by their passionate for people."
CUBE HR is going to need a bigger trophy cabinet at this rate with them now proud owners of a BIBA Employee Hero Award (Claire Thwaite), the Freshie HR Hero Award (Lisa Sourbutts), a BIBA for best Service Business, a HIVE Award for Best Micro Business, Best New Recruit at the NWEEG Awards (Stuart Wright), a Northern Enterprise Award for Best HR Support and Employment Law Specialist, a Red Rose Award for Customer Service and now the Burnley Business Award for Small Business.
CUBE provides expert HR and Employment Law support to businesses that are not large enough to have their own in-house HR team or need additional support for larger scale projects.
