Giving free advice during the pandemic is paying off for Burnley based CUBE HR as they grew by 120 per cent in 2021 and are on target to grow by a further 111 per cent by the end of this financial year, resulting in them appointing two new team members.
CUBE HR gave free advice to over 60 businesses and saved hundreds of jobs throughout 2020 and 2021 gaining them a great reputation. That coupled with multiple award wins, including 2 BIBAs, a Red Rose Award, a HIVE award and many more, it’s not surprising they caught the attention of Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis and he crowned them #SBS winners.
This success has led to CUBE winning some very prestigious contracts and gaining more market share from existing HR providers. The two new joiners are Louise O’Rourke, HR consultant and she will work on these new contracts, and Sharlene Spence, HR administrator who will provide support for the whole team, whilst developing into a HR Consultant role.
Reflecting on CUBE’s success, managing director, Lisa Sourbutts said: “I still remember the day we offered to give free advice, I had 70 missed calls and we called every one of them back. Liking our ethos, more businesses then contacted us to do paid business and we’ve not stopped growing since.
"We’ve seen a shift in the level of service people want and more businesses are moving to us to get that personalised service. Rather than a generic phone number and email, all our clients have a dedicated consultant and have their mobile number and email so that we get to know them inside out. That’s why most of our business still comes from our existing client base, something we are very proud of.”
The team already have a relentless commitment to continuous improvement for their clients, and for their employees, and are looking forward to welcoming Louise and Sharlene’s input into further enhancing their offering.
CUBE provide expert HR and Employment Law support to businesses that are not large enough to have their own in-house HR team, or need some additonal support for larger scale projects.
