Crowberry Consulting Ltd meets with New York City, National LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, USA.
As a certified LGBT business, and a full member of Out Britian which is affiliated in the USA with the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, we were delighted to meet with Mr Jackson in New York City, from the New York Chapter of the Chamber.
The meeting discussed the USA trade climate and series of Executive Orders dialing back on EDI as well as the growing renewables sector in New York and New Jersey.
Despite some of the doom and gloom there is much to be optimistic about in the USA for diverse suppliers and minority owned businesses.
The team at Crowberry Consulting also took in a visit to the Stonewall Inn, where Pride began in the late 1960s orginally as a riot to protest against police harrassment of the LGBTQ community.
February is the month dedicated to LGBT history to celebrate the communities rich history, civil rights and the abolition of Section 28 law in 2003.
Becky Toal, CEO, said: "We were delighted to meet Mr Jackson in New York City to discuss diverse supply chains, LGBTQ businesses and how the community can work closely together from the UK to the USA.
"February is a cold month in the Big Apple, but these networking meetings help to warm the relationship with our friends in the USA."
