West Lancashire-based Construction Partnership UK has won the £1.95m building contract at the highly-acclaimed Loreto College in Hulme, south Manchester.
Sited in the existing college grounds, the brick-clad block will also house classrooms and new amenities areas for students and staff.
The contract is the latest in a string of appointments in recent months which has seen CPUK’s order book for the next 12 months grow to more than £25m.
As well as education, CPUK is now working on projects in the retail, commercial, health and house-building.
Steve Burke, managing director of CPUK, said: “The contract with Loreto College will see us creating a modern, stylish education block that will greatly enhance the existing facilities that exist on campus.
“The new amenities the building will create for the college will be open for students arriving to study at the start of the academic year in 2014.”
“There appears to be continuing momentum in the construction industry, which is encouraging and is enabling us to continue with our plans to expand our horizons geographically and take on projects across the UK.
