Lancashire's investment opportunities will be showcased before a national audience when it returns to the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) in May.
Taking place across three days - 21, 22 and 23 of May - the event will draw in more than 10,000 attendees, including 3,000 investors and developers.
The event, backed by a string of household names such as Amazon, Boeing, Evri, HSBC, Ikea and Tesco, will feature 700 speakers across 30 stages and more than 100 fringe events.
The county's presence, featuring a dynamic delegation of public and private sector leaders, will showcase Lancashire as a prime destination for investment, innovation, and collaboration.
Visitors to stand K44 will receive warm Lancashire hospitality and the opportunity to connect with key representatives from Lancashire County Council, Electricity North West, Preston City Council, the University of Central Lancashire, and other pivotal stakeholders, including the Eric Wright Group, Forbes Solicitors, Lancaster City Council, Marketing Lancashire, Pendle Borough Council, and the Preston Partnership.
A highlight of the Lancashire showcase will be the exclusive session titled "Fuelling Lancashire's Future," set to take place on the Cinema stage on May 22nd at 2:15 PM. This session promises insights into the collaborative potential among the private sector, public sector, and universities in Lancashire to foster more opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
Simon Lawrence, director of growth and regeneration at Lancashire County Council, emphasised Lancashire's significance at UKREiiF: "With collaboration between public and private sectors, Lancashire is poised for remarkable growth. As we establish the Lancashire Combined County Authority, we envision immense potential for unlocking new opportunities.
"UKREiiF serves as a pivotal platform to showcase the county's promise. We're eager to forge partnerships and drive sustainable development across our vibrant county."
