County businesses urged to back £20m expo bid

Blackpool stands on the verge of landing a two-month exhibition which could bring more than £20m of investment into the area - and it's asking for your help to seal the deal.

The exhibition, which will run for at least two months, will showcase the great creative, cultural and design sectors across the whole of the North, boosting business and tourism in the region, the effects of which will spread across the whole county.

Lancashire's bid will lead on the content and profile of the event. Focused on manufacturing, innovation, technology, creative design and culture, the spotlight will fall directly on the Lancashire businesses excelling across a wide range of sectors, creating a positive profile that will turn heads, attract more business and investment and provide new opportunities for Lancashire on a grand and impressive scale.
