The national campaign by >COUNTER TERRORISM POLICING continues to urge the public to report suspicious activity to help police bring dangerous offenders to justice and prevent terror attacks in the UK and overseas.
‘Make nothing happen’ focuses on the critical role the public can play in defeating terrorism and was the first under a new branding platform called ACT: ACTION COUNTERS TERRORISM.Some of our staff completed similar training to this a couple of years ago which was called 'Project Griffin'. The training has now been updated therefore we will be offering this awareness training to all our employees going forward.Lancashire Constabulary will be coming to our head office to deliver the training in September and we would like all of our Bed Watch Officers and NHS Staff to attend the first training event. The training will be tailored to incorporate our employee's work environment as whilst the chances of being caught up in a terrorist incident remain rare, it is important to be prepared and know how to protect yourself if the need arises.
