The future of Lancashire’s high streets will be put under the microscope at the Lancashire Property Conference 2021 later this month.
Key speakers for the online event, which will also focus on housing and the levelling up agenda, include designer and housing developer Wayne Hemingway and Wayne Wild, who chairs Darwen’s Town Deal board.
They will be joined by decision-makers from the private and public sector, developers, landlords, businesses and other related industries.
The event, in association with Blackpool: The Place for Business and Harrison Drury Solicitors, is being hosted by Lancashire Business View in support of its regular property reports, which provide news and analysis of the sector across the county.
The morning conference will get underway at 10am on Thursday September 30. Attendees to the event will also be able to network once the feature presentations have concluded.
Other confirmed speakers are John Chesworth, executive chair at Harrison Drury and chair of Preston’s Towns Fund board and Nick Gerrard, growth and prosperity programme director at Blackpool Council.
They will be joined by Frank McKenna, chief executive of Downtown in Business; Catherine Price, Blackburn BlD manager; Stephen Young, executive director of growth, environment, transport and community services at Lancashire County Council and Tom Jones, owner of Whalley Wine Shop.
Nick Gerrard, growth and prosperity programme director at Blackpool Council said: “The property conference is a vital forum for us to demonstrate the opportunities we are creating to deliver growth and prosperity in Lancashire - a real world demonstration of how Blackpool ‘Makes it Work’.”
