CoolKit, the Burnley-based temperature-controlled van specialist, has appointed Usman Batan to the role of marketing executive as part of its expansion programme.
Usman, who gained a first-class honours degree in marketing management and advertising at UCLan, previously led marketing at Blackburn's Star Tissue.
He said: “I am very excited about the challenges I am going to face at CoolKit. This company is absolutely thriving, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it.
"I am excited to understand the whole landscape of the industry and dealing with every aspect of design, production, operations, and sales. And then by using my own insights and experience working out how we are able to market the business to maintain its success and help further its growth."
Daniel Miller, managing director at CoolKit, said: “We are delighted to bring someone with Usman’s capabilities and knowledge on board.
“His pedigree of working with some excellent Lancashire businesses and his academic accomplishments mean we are sure he will hit the ground running and help us to achieve the next steps of our exciting plans for growth."
Earlier this year the Burnley-based company announced a restructuring of its executive team following a record order intake of £20.1m for 2022.
Complementing Usman's appointment, Mike Scappaticci has also been promoted to sales director whilst Matthew Kershaw, director of the Northern Motor Alliance, has been appointed head of operations.
