Conlon Construction has been appointed by accountancy giant Danbro to deliver the landmark Jubilee House redevelopment in Lytham.
Five firms tendered for the project with Preston-based Conlon winning the contract. Work to transform the iconic building, which will become Danbro’s new headquarters, is scheduled to complete in October 2014.
Michael Conlon, chairman at Conlon Construction, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been appointed by Danbro, a well-known company which has a strong reputation across Lancashire and the North West. This is a landmark project, not only due to its nature, but also its prominent location and we are looking forward to starting work on site.” When the Jubilee House renovation completes, Danbro will be offering up to 20,000 sq ft of office space for rent including space for incubator units for small business start-ups and social enterprises.
