A popular conference designed to improve health, happiness and productivity in Lancashire’s workforces will return this April.

The Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Conference - taking place on Tuesday 23 April at Crow Wood Hotel in Burnley - will feature an array of experts engaging in fireside chat interviews, panel debates and meeting delegates one-to-one at the exhibition.

Topics addressed will include achieving work-life balance, implementing health and wellbeing strategies and, in the shadow of the cost-of-living crisis, financial wellbeing has been introduced as a key topic.

Amber River True Bearing has been announced as the headline sponsor and will share insight into supporting staff and helping them to understand and better manage their finances.

The event will also showcase the first-hand accounts of businesses who have already successfully implemented successful health and wellbeing policies.

The conference aims to provide valuable insights into workplace health and wellbeing for all attendees, regardless of their organisation's size or sector, meaning every participant will leave with practical insights and actionable takeaways.

Stephen Bolton, managing director of Lancashire Business View which organises the conference, said: “This event is for any business which is interested in improving the lives of the people that work for it.

“There’s a business case to be made for investing in healthier and happier workforces, as it increases productivity and reduces absenteeism. But even more importantly, it’s the right thing for employers to do. Caring about one another is what Lancashire businesses do, and I’m proud that we have created this event to help drive the conversation forward.”

Jayne Raven, marketing manager of Amber River True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners, said: “We are delighted to be the headline sponsor of this year's Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Conference.

“Financial wellbeing is an important topic for many people, and we are looking forward to providing information on the day."

The event will be reviewed in full in Lancashire Business View’s Health and Wellbeing Report in our May/June edition and shared with our 50,000 readers in print and online.

Tickets are available for £50+vat and can be booked here.

If you work in the sector, please get in touch with us directly about sponsor, speaker and exhibitor opportunities.
