Jaydee Davis has been appointed as the new operations director of Blackburn-based C.I.C, Community & Business Partners. The company, which works across Lancashire has been linking business and community since 1988 and most recently launched lovefromlancs.com as a voluntary response to COVID-19.
A well known face across the county’s business networks, Jaydee has worked with many businesses on the Boost Business Lancashire Programme, and works to match experienced mentors with businesses.
Following five successful years as the operations manager, she will take up the operations director role with immediate effect. Community & Business Partners chief executive Amanda Meachin said: “Jaydee has put an enormous amount of work into promoting business across Lancashire. Not only that, but she has ensured that we as a team are organised and well placed to provide that support.
"As the county moves to a new strategy, from that of growth to resilience, it’s important that we have those with the knowledge and strength at the forefront. Jaydee is that person."
Operations director Jaydee Davis said: “I was born and brought up in Lancashire, it’s where my heart is and I am ready for the challenge that lies before me. And all of a sudden that challenge just got bigger. I will do everything I can to support business in the County, and to drive forward Community & Business Partners.
"What was always going to be a big challenge, has now become a huge challenge. It is also an enormous opportunity to shape the Community & Business Partners of the future."
