A growing army of companies are coming together to do business with each other as our ‘Buy it in Lancashire and Bring Back a Billion!’ campaign gathers momentum.
Businesses are rising to the challenge and making a difference. Silverwoods Waste Management is one of the businesses that has signed the pledge.
The Clitheroe-based organic waste specialist is working in collaboration with Lancaster University on a research project that is set to have major benefits for farmers in the county.
It has linked up with waste management business Lancashire Renewables in a significant contract that sees Silverwoods successfully extract and recycle organic waste from domestic refuse.
