Blackpool-based web developers Code Galaxy recently completed the new NHS Apprenticeship Awards website for Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Health and Social Care Partnership.
The NHS Apprenticeship Awards recognise the outstanding contribution and achievements of apprentices from across the Lancashire and South Cumbria area.
The new website, www.nhsappawards.co.uk, required a quick turnaround which Code Galaxy were committed to and able to achieve. The site required customised functionality to record nominations for 11 open awards from apprentices, training providers and managers.
Director of Code Galaxy Nicky Speakman said: “We were delighted to be asked to work on this project. The NHS Apprenticeship Awards are a fantastic way to honour the achievements of apprentices from across the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Health and Social Care Partnership.
“The website needed to be easy to navigate with sophisticated, bespoke functionality that provided exceptional user experience throughout the nomination process. We enjoyed the challenge and were pleased to have completed the project within the tight deadline.”
Ruth Keeler, strategic lead for ICS careers and engagement at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Health and Social Care Partnership, said: “When we decided to host our first Apprenticeship Awards, we knew we needed a bespoke website to support the nomination process. Code Galaxy immediately understood the brief and pulled out all the stops to design a website for us that is easy to navigate and captures the essence of our awards. “We want as many people as possible to recognise the contribution of apprenticeships across the region and Code Galaxy’s professionalism and skill will really help us to do this. Nicky and his team have been a pleasure to work with.”
