Lancashire-based managed ground transport and accommodation specialist CMAC has appointed Jason Hilton as head of account management.
Jason will be responsible for implementing the company's growth and retention strategies for existing customers in the public and private sectors including rail, aviation, onward travel, and travel management.
He brings over 20 years of senior experience in industries such as travel and healthcare to the role. Prior to joining CMAC, Jason managed multi-million-pound client relationships as retention director at Health Management.
Earlier in his career, Jason held commercial and operational positions in ITC Travel Group, Red Sea Holidays and The Co-operative Group.
He will now report to director of commercial, Ashley Seed, who is based at CMAC’s Accrington office.
Neil Micklewhite, chief operations officer at CMAC Group, said: "Jason has extensive experience in leading businesses, both operationally and commercially, which will be invaluable in building strategic relationships with our clients as we continue our expansion in the UK and overseas.
"CMAC’s ability to deliver positive customer experiences has been key to securing the customer loyalty which is one of the defining factors in our success. CMAC’s commitment to customer service was recognised in 2021 with the prestigious Gold Investor in Customer Award but we’re not content to rest on our laurels.
"Jason’s expertise, and proven success, in improving customer satisfaction and retention, will enhance the service we offer our clients and play an important part in CMAC’s retention and growth activities in 2023 and beyond.”
