Business professionals from various sectors have come together to form a new Community Interest Company (CIC), aimed at providing advice and support to new and young businesses.
The organisation’s aim is to assist and prevent businesses being starved of quality and tailored advice that will assist with their stability and growth during the early stages of their growth and development.
It will also provide a strategy to support businesses through the provision of timely information and frequent updates with our key consulting members in, bi-weekly surgeries and clinics on a number of topics.
Helen Livesey of T Livesey Limited and Kathryn Orange of Mr Franchise of The Business Clinic said: “Small businesses can join our organisation and in return can gain access to relevant experience based guidance depending on what issues their businesses may have, whether it’s what to do about taking on a member of staff, to how to promote their business.
Melanie Bryan will be the key speaker. Honoured with an OBE for her services to social enterprise and Women’s Enterprise in the North West, she was also recently appointed Deputy Lieutenant for Greater Manchester. The Business Clinic officially launches on Wednesday, November 6 and is inviting young or prestart companies and individual business owners trading for up to five years, to its event at Marsden Rawthorn’s Chorley offices between 6pm – 8pm, to find out how they will benefit from the activities of the new organisation.
