Christie & Co sells Poplar's Day Nursery in Leyland

Specialist business property adviser Christie and Co has announced the sale of the Poplars Day Nursery in Leyland.

The renowned term-time-only nursery, which is registered for 42 children, has been sold on a freehold basis to Mr and Mrs Hope, former operators who were looking to re-enter the market.

“Once the decision was made to sell, we were able to market the nursery in a confidential manner by leveraging our contacts and offering the nursery to numerous well financed active buyers. Because of the impressive fee income that the nursery provides, the valuable freehold property, healthy profits and potential to increase the operating capacity of the setting further, we had a number of expressions of interest from potential buyers who saw this as an excellent opportunity.
