North West motor business Chorley Group pride itself on family values and with its latest appointments they’re practising what they preach.
Brothers Shaun and Stuart Horrocks are now both working for Chorley Group at their Chorley site. Shaun as general sales manager and Stuart as general manager at the Chorley site.
Stuart said: “It feels like coming home. Me and Shaun are both Chorley lads and our family car was always bought from Chorley Group when we were kids. They’re known for their great customer service, and it certainly kept us coming back.”
The brothers have over 40 years' experience in the motor industry between them although they haven’t worked together for 20 years.
Shaun said: “Because we’re brothers, we know how the other one thinks and things often don’t need to be said, we just instinctively know what the other wants or is going to do. We work really well together.
“Chorley Group are known and well respected within the industry, a destination employer where people aspire to work, so when we got the opportunity to not only work together again, but also with Chorley Group we both jumped at the chance.”
Chorley Group started as a family-run business and even with their growth over the years they have maintained those same principles and ethics.
Managing director, Adam Turner, whose father Andrew Turner started the business in 1989 and whose aunt, Pauline Turner, was the MD before Adam said: “We’re proud of being a family business and we think that translates to how we operate, and our customers recognise and appreciate that.
“We are firm believers in a customer centric approach to business and building lasting relationships with our customers and I believe that has been instrumental in getting us to where we are today.
“Shaun and Stuart illustrate that perfectly and we feel like we’ve got the dream team.”
Chorley Group currently operates 15 franchises across the North West and employs just under 400 people.
