Motor business Chorley Group has continued its partnership with local football club Chorley FC and extended its stadium sponsorship deal for a further two seasons.
Chorley Group, long-time backers of The Magpies, extended its sponsorship of the club last season. The club's home ground is named the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium.
Adam Turner, managing director of Chorley Group which currently operate 12 franchises across the North West and employ 300 people locally, said: “We are proud once again to continue to support the Chorley FC team and keep our local community ties strong.
“The club is an integral part of the town, and we are pleased that we can play our part in supporting the club in all it does for the local area.
“Hopefully the boys continue to push on up the league this season."
Chorley Group and Chorley FC both have strong ties with the towns Inspire Youth Zone helping the young people of Chorley.
Chorley FC’s home ground will continue to be known as the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium through to the end of the 2023/24 campaign - meaning the Lancashire-wide car dealership's association with the Magpies and Victory Park, which began in 2010, will now run to at least 14 years.
The deal also covers the headline sponsor board on the Duke Street gates, sponsor boards inside Victory Park, a sponsored car for Director of Football Andy Preece and an advert in Magpie Review.
Terry Robinson CEO at Chorley FC said: “This sponsorship once again shows how Chorley Group supports the local town and Chorley FC. The continued sponsorship of the Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium till end of the 2023/2024 season shows confidence in the club going forward.
“The ongoing cooperation between Chorley Group and the football club is something that both organisations foster, and we look forward to continuing that cooperation throughout the period of the sponsorship.
“The Club would like to thank everybody at Chorley Group for their support in this and the coming years.”
