Chard voted UK Bullion Dealer of the Year 2016

Blackpool based coin and bullion dealer, Chard, has been voted UK Bullion Dealer of the Year 2016 receiving the prestigious title for the second year in a row.

In a competition run by Bullion.Directory they faced fierce rivalry from Britain’s leading bullion dealers, some of whom are the largest bullion companies in Europe. Chard were delighted to find out they had won the crown again by narrowly beating Degussa owned Sharps Pixley by a lead of less than one per cent.

Established in 1964, Chard have built up a multi million pound business with a loyal customer base. Chard are not the biggest bullion dealer in the UK, but they try their hardest to be the best. They stock an extensive range of bullion and numismatic material at highly competitive prices which attracts customers from all over the world. Chard’s staff prides itself on great customer care. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable and go the extra mile (or shall we say, the Golden Mile) to help their customers. They often say “We don’t just sell coins, we know coins!”. Obviously, customers have recognised this and have rewarded Chard with their votes.

Chard's company motto is Inform, Educate, Inspire and their websites are crammed with free numismatic information. This has been recognised by another accolade from the Bullion.Directory, Educational Resource of the Year 2016. Director and expert numismatist, Lawrence Chard said “It is great news that we have been voted UK Bullion Dealer of the Year 2016. We have probably done more than all other coin / bullion dealers to expand and create awareness of the UK gold bullion market since EU VAT exemption arrived in 1st January 2000. We believe that a well-informed customer is a Chard customer. We are not just a bullion dealer, we are primarily a coin dealer, so for us to get more votes requires a higher proportion of our customers voting for us. Our customers are the essence of our business and we are amazed at the fantastic support they have shown us. Thank you to all of you.”
