Southport-based Chapelhouse Motor Group has purchased three motor retail sites from the Bolton Care Centre.
The deal includes Suzuki and Citroen franchises in Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan which will now trade under the Chapelhouse name.
BCC Cars continues to operate Hyundai and Citroen dealerships in Bolton, Bury and Blackburn.
Chris Layton, Chapelhouse Group operations director, said: "These businesses share many similarities with our own, having been part of a family-owned business built over many years operating similar franchises in neighbouring towns.
"We will cover the North West area with our nine sites offering Suzuki, Kia, Citroen and Fiat vehicles, service and parts, to an extended customer base ensuring we continue to provide our excellent customer experience for which we are known."
Richard Clithero, partner, and Nick Pickup, associate solicitor, of Forbes Solicitors were instructed by BCC Cars and were the legal advisors to the seller.
The deal was handled by David Kendrick of UHY and Keith Melling and Paul Hardy of Napthens Solicitors LLP were the legal advisors appointed by the buyer.
