Lancashire’s creative and digital SMEs are being urged to join and help shape a new innovative leadership and growth programme for their sector.
It has been created to meet the learning and development needs of the county’s creative and digital businesses. The programme has evolved from the success of Lancaster University’s Lancashire Forum.
It will be delivered through Central Lancashire’s Centre for SME Development by a team with 20 years’ experience in designing and delivering growth programmes for SMEs, bringing together industry-specific expertise from the University’s Business School, Leadership Hub and the Creative and Digital learning lab.
Award winning entrepreneur Antony Chesworth, founder and managing director of e-commerce platform EKM.com, will deliver a ‘Think Tank’ and provide insight into how he built up a successful business. There will also be refreshments and networking opportunities.
“Every business has different needs, so the programme has been designed to provide varying levels of support depending on individual requirements, from expert-led Think Tank workshops to an intensive growth programme.
The Lancashire Forum Creative has received just over £480,000 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
