Lancashire businesses have the opportunity to watch the UK's best young engineers compete for a place at an international competition.
The selection for WorldSkills Team UK will take place later in March at Training 2000's, with businesses and schools from across Lancashire getting the chance to support those taking part and experience the atmosphere of a national skills competition for themselves.The events are set to take place from Wednesday 29th until Friday 31st March - with five competitions taking place in total including CNC milling and turning, construction metal work and the Manufacturing Team Challenge.
Hosted in Training 2000's Advanced Manufacturing & Automation Centre, the events will take place in the pioneering £1.2m facility which launched in September 2016. To book a place on one of the competition days, email [email protected].
