Commercial property solicitor Catherine Worthington has joined Harrison Drury, and will work across the law firm's Lancaster and Kendal offices.
After qualifying as a solicitor in 2000, Catherine joined Cheshire firm MLP Law and later worked for national law firm Cobbetts for over 10 years before embarking on a career break.
She has experience in advising telecoms providers and landowners on matters including site acquisitions, upgrades and other estate matters.
Catherine also has a detailed understanding of property finance transactions and specialises in advising banks and other lenders on complex property and asset sales.
Owen McKenna, director in the property team at Harrison Drury, said: “Catherine is a hugely experienced solicitor and will be a real asset to the firm and its clients. As well as having a broad legal knowledge, she has specialisms in some very technical areas which will further enhance our team’s expertise.”
Catherine added: “After taking a career break to raise children, I’ve been really looking forward to getting back into the legal profession. Harrison Drury advises a number of major businesses and landowners across Lancashire and Cumbria that I’m really looking forward to working with.”
