Carringtons makes the switch to Mini Electric

  As part of their Local Influencer programme, Lloyd Mini (Grange Over Sands) partnered with Carringtons Coffee Co for the week to promote the Mini Electric. At the Keer Park Industrial Estate (Fellside Property Rentals Limited), Carnforth, where Carringtons Coffee Co is based, each unit has the benefit of pre-installed electric car charging points, solar operated, making the week’s start and end points easy to plan for.     Upon receipt of the Mini Electric, the car was put to the task of fresh roasted coffee delivery to Lancaster. For that last mile delivery from Carringtons HQ the Mini Electric has ample storage for Carringtons’ reusable tubs of their iconic Doghouse Espresso roast and battery capacity to do multiple round trips. The car is nippy and perfect for inner city driving and with the ability to recharge fully in 5 hours all the day’s driving tasks can be achieved without affecting the routine of a small business.     For the week ahead Carringtons Coffee Co plans to test the Mini Electric’s range by visiting parts of the Lake District for some outdoor product photography and showcasing the custom branding provided by Lloyd Mini. Making the switch to electric couldn’t be easier with a trial run and Carringtons will be seriously considering making the change permanent.
