Twenty winners were crowned from over 100 shortlisted businesses in categories ranging from Start-up Business of the Year to the Commitment to Skills Award.
Compere for the ceremony was BBC North West Tonight and Radio Lancashire presenter Graham Liver.
The evening kicked off in style as a horn and percussion streetband led the crowd of Lancashire business leaders into the Empress Ballroom. A twitter wall displayed the online buzz created by the event.
Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View magazine, said: “The Red Rose Awards is one of the highlights of the business calendar for companies in Lancashire. It’s the night we see the stories from the magazine spring to life.
