The Burnley office of commercial property consultants Trevor Dawson has completed the disposal of Lomeshaye Business Village.
The site has been acquired by EP Properties for an undisclosed sum. The new owners are re-branding it and looking at various areas for redevelopment to take the centre forward.
Trevor Dawson acted on behalf of BizSpace in the disposal of the freehold multi-let industrial and office village, totalling approximately 135,000 sq ft.
Located on the popular Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, the investment represented an opportunity with proactive management to produce rental growth. At the time of the disposal the net income was towards £285,000.
In a separate deal, Trevor Dawson has completed one of the largest lettings in the Burnley area for some time, which it says illustrates there is still demand for well-planned modern office accommodation.
Acting on behalf of a private client, the firm was instructed to market Crown House on Bridgewater Close within the popular Network 65 Business Park.
Totalling 15,447 sq ft, it represented an opportunity to occupy a landmark office building with feature glazed reception, air conditioning and ample parking.
Terms were agreed with Holker IT, an expanding local business which has relocated from its previous premises.
