The bridge connecting the £50m Burnley Bridge Business Park development at Junction 9 of the M65 is now complete.
For regional and national businesses looking to relocate, the completion of the bridge and road infrastructure will ensure that the facility will offer excellent accessibility for both logistics vehicles and public transport.
Once fully occupied, the site is expected to generate 1,400 new and sustainable jobs and attract businesses that are looking to benefit from a central location and a dynamic, growing economy.
“The business park’s prominent location and the calibre of accommodation on offer will ensure that the development appeals to both local and national operators.” Diane Bourne, managing director of Eric Wright Civil Engineering, which undertook the construction of the bridge, said: “We are delighted that the construction of the bridge and surrounding road access have been completed as this will create direct road links and open up the development for potential occupiers.”
