Tens of thousands of people are expected to line the four procession routes and more than 200 organisations are registered as participants.
Organisers are now seeking product and service providers to put themselves forward and help support the event, especially those operating in transport, insurance, scaffolding, fencing, power and signage.
An event, ‘Leap into the Guild’, will take place from 2pm to 7pm on February 29 at the Guild Hall to assist those registered for the processions in procuring items and services they will need. Providers of the key services will be admitted to the event – and urged to offer discounts. Up to five businesses per sector will be accepted on a
'first come first served' basis. Priority will be given to companies located in and around Preston.
