The first Business Exchange event was held bright and early with delegates from across Burnley’s thriving business community attending.
The event focussed on intellectual property; Tony Catterall, Taylors’ head of IP, took delegates through the fundamentals of IP and Emma Swan, employment partner, spoke about the intellectual property held by employees, giving helpful tips and advice as to how employers can ensure they protect their business.
"The topic of the event was particularly relevant to Burnley’s manufacturing, engineering and design-led organisations and I know that Taylors already has plans for a second event in the Autumn."
"This was the first event and we’ve had some very positive feedback from delegates. We’re very much open to suggestions from the business community for topics for future events so we can address the real operational issues affecting local business leaders." A second event is being planned for Autumn 2015.
