Lancaster-based IT firm Q2Q IT has hired a business development manager to support its ambitious growth plans.
Laura Sharkey joins the company with expertise in business development, sales and marketing for some of the UK’s largest awarding organisations, including Training Qualifications UK.Her role at Q2Q will concentrate on identifying and maximising business opportunities, as well as account management and support of the wider team.
Commenting on the newly created position and his fresh recruit, Andrew Stellakis, managing director of Q2Q said: “We have big growth plans over the next two years, which we simply couldn’t meet without the appointment of a dedicated sales and support manager.“Our customer service levels are high, and we want them to remain that way. So, Laura will ensure that our clients are always happy and feeling ‘loved’, whilst finding and bringing new ones on board. This will allow our tech team to do what they do best, which is IT!”
Laura adds: “For me, it’s important to deliver more than just a great product or service. The customer always comes first and this is so important when truly understanding a company’s needs. My goal is to deliver a tailored service and outstanding product which a client will always appreciate and remember.“My views are very aligned with Q2Q’s vision and goal – that’s what attracted me to the role!
