Burnley College student Holly Stewart has started an exciting new marketing internship at The Landmark.
Currently studying Business BTEC Level 3 at the college, Holly has aspirations to start her own marketing business once she finishes her diploma in May 2024.
Keen to build her communication and confidence skills during her time at The Landmark, the keen footballer – who has played for both the Burnley FC Women’s Academy and Barrowford Celtic Girls – has been set the task of building the businesses TikTok presence.
The Landmark, a thriving business hub and event venue based on School Lane in Burnley, is the perfect fit for the business student, with Holly looking to build her management, finance and marketing skills during her internship.
Claire Rhodes, general manager at The Landmark, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Holly has joined us here at The Landmark for her internship. We can’t wait to watch her develop and grow during her time with us and we have some really exciting projects, which we will be working on together.”
Holly added: “I got an email from college, they told me about this internship and I said I have got to give it a go because this is possibly going to be one of the best experiences I am ever going to get in my lifetime.
“Currently I am studying international business, different types of leadership and management styles, and last year I also studied finance and marketing. That’s when I became more interested in learning about marketing and how much it has changed in the last five years, and that is what has made me apply for this internship.”
