Burnley-based Physiofusion continues to expand with its new premises in Skipton. The official opening was Friday 5 February with ribbon cutting duties undertaken by Skipton town mayor, Gordon Bell.
The business, headed by founders clinical director Sam House and managing director Sorrel Holland, is proving to be a real Burnley gem. Started in 2007 in Padiham, they moved to their Burnley head office in 2008 and now operate six clinics.Managing director, Sorrel Holland, said: “We are really pleased with progress in the business. We took a little while to prove the business model worked, investing time and funds into developing an infrastructure from which the company can continue to grow.
"This includes the regulation of scalable processes that can be transferred and replicated consistently when we recruit or add a new clinic. There has been a complete overhaul of our recruitment and retention process, including an employee benefits package and health care scheme that employees are enrolled in automatically.”All this means job creation and with Burnley at its heart, much of it will be local. Growth means that they can deliver a greater range of services to provide more effective care, to more patients, more often.Services include physiotherapy, a range of massages and podiatry, as well as offering the local business community support in preventing problems - and helping to fix them when things do go wrong. They are trained in Manual Handling & Ergonomics, Seating & Desk Positions, Driving Positions, Toolbox Talks and much more. Furthermore, in September the company won The BIBA award for Professional Services Business of the Year and are finalists in two Red Rose Awards categories - Health & Care Business and Customer Service Award – which they learned just last week.
