Iain Round, business development partner at accountants and business advisors Beever and Struthers, says the firm will use 2017 to build on a record year for the 118-year-old practice.
In 2016 the firm achieved its highest turnover on record with income from associated interest totalling £11.8m, representing growth of more than seven per cent. That growth was entirely organic and not augmented by mergers or acquisitions.
Most of our new clients - approximately 70 per cent of the total - appointed the firm following referrals from existing clients, reflecting an historic reputation for unrivalled partner-led service and the retention and quality of long-serving partners and staff.
The sectors include social housing, charities, property, manufacturing, professional and legal, innovation, communication and IT, freelancers, wholesale, motor and transport, employment agencies, insurance and financial education, residential and international.
