Breathe Therapies’ clinical director and nurse specialist Shelley Perry and EFT practitioner Claire Patterson, delivered an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping Technique) workshop at the Wellbeing Farm for the team at Advocacy Focus.
Claire explains EFT as “a powerful technique for accessing past stored memories that cause us negative, irrational and sometimes very painful emotions that are keeping us stuck in our lives today. Many of my clients have daily symptoms that are causing emotional pain and just do not know where it has come from and/or why it continues. I am also very passionate about individuals that logically ‘understand’ where the emotional pain is coming from but have not been able to ‘release’ it or ‘let it go’ yet, despite the new thinking, cognitive awareness and understanding. This is where EFT works beautifully for individuals.”
Breathe received some great feedback from the attendees with one explaining that they enjoyed “learning about the theory behind it – I'd heard of it but never really understood it before...I enjoyed it all.”
A spokesperson from Advocacy Focus also added: “This was brilliant. We 100% recommend...”
