Lancaster-based brand and digital consultancy, Factored, has relaunched as EXP.
The name, short for experience, reflects the team's focus on end-to-end customer and user experience, connecting brand, digital, and marketing to get results.
Established in 2013, the consultancy has grown over the past 9 years and works with a range of clients including City of York Council, Lancaster University and Locality.
Tom Grattan, managing director, said: “A lot has changed since we launched. We’ve shifted from primarily offering graphic design, to consultancy services that solve problems. EXP perfectly fits the conversations and briefs we’re presented with today, making sure brands communicate with their customers effectively across multiple platforms, creating a consistent end-to-end experience that gets results.”
The relaunch is a culmination of 12 months’ work in repositioning the consultancy to lead on strategy. The team worked with freelance Manchester-based creatives including Dave Sedgwick of StudioDBD, copywriter Patrick Harvey, and photographer Steve Longbottom, to gain an external perspective on the rebrand.
Daniel Wallace, digital/UX director, said: “EXP marks a fundamental change in how we talk about our work. It’s all about outcomes, not output. The pandemic accelerated the adoption of new technologies, and we’re working with clients to explore opportunities of how they can enhance customer and user experience.”
The consultancy plans to grow following new client wins with additional requirements in digital marketing.
