Booming deals market helps Forbes grow

The corporate team at Forbes Solicitors has completed deals totalling more than £150m in the first quarter of its financial year.

The firm's corporate team has grown by 400 per cent in the last three years, creating a team of 18 advisors within the corporate and commercial field.

Partner and head of corporate Pauline Rigby said the growth within Forbes indicated a booming deals market in the county.

Forbes's growth is due to handling larger and more complex projects, as well as a larger volume of transactions. The firms work covers a range of values, from company buy-outs to business expansions and contractual issues. Pauline said: “The deals undertaken in the last quarter represent the broad spread of our client base, from local SMEs to larger corporate clients."
