Haydock Finance has strengthened its board of directors by making two significant appointments.
Steve Worrall was appointed managing director, becoming responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the company, as it continues to organically grow in its chosen field of asset finance to business users.With a background in banking, Steve was a board director of Haydock until 2009 when he moved to a multi-national FTSE100 company to undertake the role of Finance Director.
Steve’s return to Haydock provides welcomed continuity to the business, whilst being a springboard to allow Jon Wilkinson, executive chairman, to focus on enhancing relationships with funders and brokers.Ian Barr was appointed credit and risk director, adding real value to the Lancashire based team, given that his previous positions include head of asset finance, UK at National Australia Group, head of credit and risk at British Linen Asset Finance and manager, credit and risk at EFT Finance.
Ian is an exceptionally well rounded senior financial services professional with over 20 years experience in banking including seven years in asset finance plus 12 years in credit and risk, with additional success in business development and growth.
