Liberty’s Hotel in Blackpool has been acquired by coach trip group Caledonian Leisure.
The 67-room hotel sits on the seafront, just one street away from Blackpool’s main promenade. It also features a restaurant, and a bar and lounge with a stage and dance floor.
David McDonald, finance director of Caledonian Leisure, said: "We are thrilled and extremely proud to welcome the hotel to our growing collection. Blackpool as a resort has always been a favourite with our customers."
Jeremy Jones, head of brokerage at Christie & Co who acted for the seller, added: “We are delighted to report the sale of the Liberty’s on The Square. Blackpool is one of the UK’s most popular seaside resorts and is currently going through a major regeneration programme, which will boost the resort’s strong leisure demand and benefit good-quality local hotels."
