Blackpool and The Fylde College has been awarded the prestigious Queen's Anniversary Prize Award for Higher and Further Education Excellence.
In the 11th round of the prestigious awards, Blackpool and The Fylde College was one of 21 UK universities and colleges to have been awarded prizes recognising a wide range of innovative work that demonstrates practical benefit to people, in the UK and beyond.
The College has a strong track record of meeting the educational and training needs of the communities that they serve going back as far as 1892.With industry partners, the College co-created a graduate training scheme in project management for a number of regional and national employers.
The Queen’s Anniversary Prize Award for Higher and Further Education Excellence has been awarded specifically for our bespoke and dedicated work in the field of project management in partnership with both regional and national employers.In excess of 400 graduates of project management are now adding real value to their employers since the scheme’s inception.
