Youth engagement project 'Blackburn Youth Zone' is launching a partner scheme dedicated to bringing the business community together to contribute to the future success of the town.
A launch event will take place at the project's state-of-the-art facility on Jubilee Street on Thursday 27 June from 9.30am.
The partner programme will see businesses from all sectors join an established network of the area's leading businesses and contribute £5,000 annually to the Youth Zone. The benefits of being involved will include association of one of the area's leading charities, increased brand awareness and opportunities for doing business within the network. Blackburn Youth Zone opened to young people in June 2012, having been in the ‘making’ for over five years. The Zone now has 3,207 members aged 8-21 offering them a safe and exciting environment in which to spend their spare time.
