Blackburn University Centre has retained its Centre of Excellence status for the delivery of its Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) courses.
Validated by the CIPS Awarding Body, the certificate determines that Blackburn University Centre is a Centre of Excellence for the delivery of Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations, Diploma in Procurement and Supply, Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply and Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
The CIPS Study Centre’s Centre of Excellence status is the top grade awarded by independent auditors.
Caroline Bracewell, head of higher education at Blackburn University Centre, said: “We are both delighted and proud that we have retained our Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Centre of Excellence status.
“We know that our CIPS course delivery is having a lasting positive impact on those who work in the Procurement and Supply industry and is also shaping and benefitting careers; there has been a heightened awareness of procurement over the past year.”
Blackburn University Centre uses teacher trained, CIPS-qualified and sector-specific qualified tutors, as well as purpose built facilities for CIPS business training.
