Blackburn-based paper products firm Accrol has launched new eco-friendly laundry sheets.
The sheets are an environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional detergent. They're made from plant-based materials meaning they’re suitable for vegans, and the packaging is compostable.
The new product is being marketed under the company's Oceans brand, which also produces plastic-free toilet paper and kitchen roll, which are made from sustainably sourced materials.
Jordan Kelly, brand marketing manager for Oceans, said: "Laundry sheets are better for the environment because, when compared with traditional laundry detergents, they save water waste, require less packaging, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions."
