Fast-growing plastic injection moulding specialist MGS Plastics is vying for two prestigious awards just three years after undergoing in a £2m overhaul.
The Blackburn-based company has been shortlisted for both the Manufacturer of the Year and overall Business of the Year titles at the Lancashire-wide Be Inspired Business Awards.The company designs, develops, manufactures, assembles and distributes plastic parts around the world for sectors including wash-room, safety, pest control, automotive, hygiene, medical, electrical, chemical, oil and gas.
A panel of hand-selected judges which interviewed the management team and visited the company’s premises will now decide which company earns the awards and gains a sought-after place in the BIBAs Winners Academy.The BIBAs are among the biggest regional business awards in the UK, with 1,000 guest expected at the prize-giving ceremony

The feedback and sales have all been extremely positive so far, but awards like these are fantastic for showing that our peers also believe in what we’re doing - and to take the trophy home would be an excellent way to reward our hard-working staff.” The winners of 17 awards, including MGS Plastics’ two categories, will be unveiled at a celebrity-headlined awards ceremony taking place in the World Famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom on September 16.
